Default Fastest title to get amongst the following?

Hi guys, been awhile!

I'm at 28 points at the HoM calculator for gw2, wanted to get it to 30.
I need one more title to get the 10 titles maxed award.

I've got the following ones lined up, but don't know which one is the fastest (don't have alot of time on my hands atm) :

- Spearmarshal (9) 22 000 / 50 000
- Epic Delver (9) 115 000 / 160 000
- Canthan Cartographer 72% / 100%
- Tyrian Protector 10 / 25

Since I'm not too familiar with farming reputation, I was thinking the Canthan Cartographer or Tyrian Protector were my best bets. Since I also get Legendary Guardian 6/6 if I finish that one. But I've done those missions SO many times already on both normal and hard mode, so would be great if you guys thing the Carhographer would be faster or a way to speed my normal missions up or something.

Thanks!

EDIT: I could also go for a tormented weapon? I have about 170k plat left, but I also need to get 2 elite armors. I also have an unded miniature elf left if that would fetch me something?

I'd say Tyrian Protector is probably your best bet, since it's in NM and can be steamrolled with heroes.

After that, Spearmarshall can be gotten pretty quickly by vanquishing.

Cartographer will probably take the longest, since there's a TON of wall scraping, bouncing around the map, and you'll have to spend a little time in JQ & FA.

it depends on what missions, but tyrian prot is probably the easiest.
Spearsmarshall =HM vq's = Cash, but easiest is prot.

Mini elf would not get you far.
170k is about 25e, and thats roughly the price for an armbrace, but you would need a bit more.

Tyrian Protector is probably the easiest out of all the ones you listed. It's normal mode, and depending on which missions you don't have the bonuses for you can get the title pretty fast.

Spearmarshal and Epic Delver have the added benefit of you being able to work on multiple titles at once - for Spearmarshal you can work on Elonian Vanquisher (or Protector/Guardian for some of the early missions) boost both you Sunspear Rep (Spearmarshal title) and your number of areas Vanquished (Elonian Vanquisher title). For Epic Delver, you could do the EotN dungeons, not only boosting your Dwarven rep but also your Master of the North title. Or, you could always do a bunch of Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-out Extravaganza! You could get Legendary Survivor that way and gain a bunch of Dwarven rep in the process.

For Canthan Cartographer, I guess you could always just vanquish a bunch of areas and then map that way, after all the foes are gone, but to be honest Cantha has the least amount of areas to vanquish and some of the zones are very small with a low amount of foes. So there's not a whole lot of synergy with that one, unless you do decide to vanquish Cantha and map in the process (with that one you could also cap elite skills along the way)

So I'd say go for Tyrian Protector. But if you've got other titles you want to max as well check out some of the others; you've got decent progress in those titles and it really wouldn't take much to max any of them. Good luck!

Tyrian Protectors is probably the easiest title.
Sunspear could farmed or gained through VQs. Easy, but takes some time.

We could give you a lot better advice if you gave us your IGN or link to your HoM.

if you're not concerned with (or afraid of) HM i'd say delver is by far the fastest. single full HM book will get you maxed title and from my experience it can be done in aabout 3 hours easily.

other than that i'd have to say spearmarshal is second fastest if farmed propertly, but like others said protector is by far the easiest one.

Tyrian Protector by far is the quickest of the those and being you're already 10/25, you probably could speed through it in maybe 3-4 hours. Next quickest, if you're good enough would be Delver; As tichi said, speedbook a single HM book. Shouldn't take more than a few hours. Next best is Cartographer. You can pull off 28% in a couple hours easy with the Cartographer texmod. Spearmarshal can be done in maybe a day if you VQ and/or farm properly.

It depends how valuable your time is to you. If you spend a few hours (at the most) and max one of those titles, you get the HoM point and you get to keep your money. But, the farming is generally less effort.

How would you rather spend your time? One option is to max one of the titles, which is a few hours of playing through missions (for Protector or Delver, depending how you go about it) or vanquishing. The other option is to spend a few hours (maybe less - depends what you farm and how efficient you are at it) farming and then purchasing the armor to put in your HoM. The way I see it, you'd be spending roughly the same amount of time doing something for the HoM point, but you have the option of spending that time in missions or farming. Missions, to me at least, are less of a grind than farming. So if I were you, I'd just wrap up Protector (or take note of any of the ways you can work on multiple titles at once), be done with it, and keep my money. But if you're the kind of person who doesn't mind farming and really doesn't like missions, then go for the armor.

You can max spearmarshal in ~1 hour doing the Sulfurous Wastes farm outside of Gate of Desolation (the undead farm, not SS/LB farm), so that's by far your easiest title remaining.

Tyrian Protector is fast and could be done in a day or two, if you have the patience. Legendary Delver might actually be the fastest, since you're mostly there already. You could do that one in a few hours by either speed-booking or doing Secret Lair of the snowmen in HM. As I recall you get around 5k faction for completing it on HM and you can do it in 5-10 minutes. Spearmarshall is also pretty easy, just vanquish say 5 zones with the bounties active. The slowest on your list is probably cartographer, since you'd likely have to visit every zone in factions to max it out. Good hunting.

Tyrian Prot will take between 8 and 15 hours, depending on the missions you've got to do. I reckon you can max Sunspear faster than that.

The fastest though very boring one would be deldrimor. The secret lair of the snowman can be done in hm easy (remember, fire-damage works great against ice).

The best option however would be tyrian protector cause if you only got 10 mission with bonus my guess would be that you don't have all mission outposts unlocked. It isn't hard nor difficult to do and you get access to all area's.

Nope.

GWW: "These snowmen (except for the Angry Snowman) have no apparent weakness to fire or resistance to cold and are fleshy."

While that's certainly true, the dungeon can still be done quite effectively using fire magic eles, since there are a large number of foes which bunch up... making fire magic's AoE skills very effective. Since the snowmen are fleshy, taking a pair or trio of MMs along will also be very helpful.

While you are right about AoE damage from eles, remember that their effectiveness is still reduced in HM compared to the mesmers' AoE damage from hexes and things such as chaos storm and keystone signet niche builds.
But honestly, bringing both is the best thing to do

To reply to OP, I'd rather go for or Sunspear, it's a really quick title and you aren't bound to completing missions and sometimes boring bonus objectives, particularly if you're playing solo with H/H. Dunes of Despair (although easily abusable) is still a pain sometimes. And some missions are long, really long.

My two cents:
I'd DEFINITELY stay away from Cartographer. Without the Texmod program, it's incredibly painful, and even with that program, it's still very time consuming (you must explore every zone, including mission areas, pretty much completely).
Delver can be pretty easy if, as others have suggested, you go for it via the Snowmen dungeon at Umbral Grotto. I have heard rumors that the snowmenz are not particularly more vulnerable to fire damage, despite them being visually made of ice, but Fire damage is relatively easy to use and nice vs. the large clumps of snuumenz. As others have also mentioned, it can get rather boring, and the end reward of that dungeon is never particularly lucrative, money-wise. That being said, once you get the routine down, you can practically do it in your sleep - it's entirely possible and in fact quite easy to do the entire dungeon while under the effect (affect?!) of the reputation-doubling "rampage" effect (i.e., without a single death of your char), as long as you have a relatively efficient build to both dispose of and defend from the snuumonks. Also, I don't know what profession your main character is, but, as with all of the EotN reputation titles, Delver is actually quite helpful for PvE.
Sunspear is pretty easy to get too. At your current ranking, you'll need to do a little more work here than for Delver, but that's up to you. Do you have Lightbringer too? If not, you can always kill two tengu with one stone and do the SS/LB farm outside of Remains of Sahlahja. Again, a rather boring farm, but also quite easy.
Tyrian Protector can be a pain. As Fexghadi mentions, the Dunes of Despair mission bonus is notoriously annoying (you basically need to use a game "glitch", or effectively split your 6-person party in half). You're less than halfway done this title (10/25), and I'd guess the ones you still need are likely the tougher ones. Furthermore, unlike the SS and Delver titles (and like the cartographer title), this one has absolutely no beneficial impact on your character.
My choices: Do Sunspear, and then Delver if you decide you want another title. Oh, and this coming week is double SS/LB points, so get on that!
